If you reach the decision to host your domains with us and you select any of our shared hosting plans, you’ll be able to activate spam filters for any email address that you set up. With a few clicks of the mouse in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you can set up 5 different levels of safety. If you continue to get junk emails or the filters start preventing authentic emails from entering your inbox, you can switch to some other level just as easily. The quality of our spam detection service is ensured by one of the most widely used filters – SpamAssassin. In case you do not want to risk missing a genuine email that may be classified as spam owing to its content, you can also create custom spam filters based on the sender, the body or the subject of the email message and redirect the emails to a separate mailbox where you can examine them later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you take advantage of one of our semi-dedicated plans, you won’t need to worry about spam messages stuffing your mailboxes all the time, as you can take advantage of the famous SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we offer with each semi-dedicated account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to activate the filter for any mailbox with several mouse clicks and you can choose any of the 5 levels of protection – from very low to very high. The level can be changed at any moment if, for instance, legitimate email messages get blocked, or if unsolicited bulk email messages go through and appear in your inbox. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered emails to be delivered to a special mailbox such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be erased. Thus, you can examine them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t omitted an authentic email.
